Choose from 54-58 fabric options including House Linen Mix, House Weave, Rustic Weave, Simple Velvet, Modern Velvet and Eco Herringbone. Colours span a beautiful palette including Natural, Indigo, Sky Blue, Lily White, Forest Green and Berry – with each fabric offering its own selection of shades to help you create the perfect look.

Yes, you can request fabric samples before purchasing. We offer up to six free fabric swatches so you can experience the look and feel of our fabrics in your home. This helps you match colours with your existing décor and choose the perfect option for your sofa or armchair. Samples are delivered within 7-10 working days. Order your free samples here.

Our sofas come in a range of sizes to suit different spaces. For example, large 2 seater sofas typically measure around 150-173cm in width, 78-93cm in height, and 83-107cm in depth. We also offer 3 seater sofas (around 184-192cm wide), compact 2 seaters (158-168cm wide), corner sofas (239cm wide), armchairs (76-82cm wide), and footstools in various dimensions. Each style has its own specific measurements, and many ranges are available in multiple size options – from compact designs perfect for smaller rooms to generous family-sized pieces.

All our sofas and armchairs are handcrafted in the UK using the highest quality materials. The frames are made from birch and a combination of other hardwoods and manufactured timbers, with joints secured using glue, screws, staples and dowels. Each piece features a zig zag sprung base for lasting support. For cushioning, you can choose between two seat fillings: Luxurious Feather, which combines a sumptuous sink-in feel with an innovative self-righting foam core, or Low-maintenance Fibre, featuring a self-righting foam centre wrapped in plush fibre that contours to your shape. Back cushions are generously filled with either gentle fibres or luxurious feather to match your seat filling choice, with removable covers for easy care.

Yes, all our sofas and armchairs are handmade to order in the UK. Current lead times are between 5-10 weeks depending on the range you choose, with delivery taking place within this timeframe.

Assembly requirements vary by product. Most items require only the attachment of feet, which our delivery courier handles for you. Some products, like the Dawson, are delivered fully assembled. For those needing assembly, you can add our Furniture Assembly service at checkout – prices start from £19.95 for light assembly. To keep your upholstery looking its best, we recommend regular care and maintenance. For everyday cleaning, vacuum your sofa regularly using a soft brush attachment to remove dust and debris. If you have a spill, act quickly – blot (don't rub) with a clean, damp white cloth to avoid damaging the fabric.

For velvet sofas, use a velvet brush or gentle steam to erase light marks, and avoid getting the fabric wet. Our Aquaclean fabric can be cleaned with water alone for most household stains.

Remember to plump your cushions daily to maintain their shape and comfort – this helps restore air between the fibres. We also recommend treating your sofa to a professional upholstery cleaning every 18 months or so.

Made-to-order sofas and armchairs cannot be returned unless they are defective or have been damaged during transit. We understand choosing upholstery is a big decision, which is why we recommend ordering up to six free fabric samples before purchasing. You can also visit one of our stores to see our ranges in person and take home samples.
