The Chester range features white wax tinted oil finish on high quality oak veneer tops with painted panels, while the Elkstone Mellow Oak bureau has a solid oak frame with a hand-applied stain and clear lacquer finish.

Do the bureaus arrive fully assembled or will some self-assembly be required?

The hideaway home offices arrive with the base and top sections fully assembled. You'll just need to attach the two sections together.

What delivery options are available, and can the bureaus be delivered to a room of choice?

We offer several delivery options depending on your purchase. Standard Delivery starts from £5.95 for homeware and smaller items, £15.95 for small furniture, and £29.95 for larger furniture pieces. For bureaus specifically, delivery costs £15.95 or £29.95 depending on size, with items delivered within 7-10 working days. Yes, bureaus can be delivered to your room of choice up to the second floor (access permitting) when using our Furniture & Large Item Delivery service. Our delivery team will also remove and recycle all packaging. You can upgrade to Named Day or Time of Choice delivery to select your preferred date and timeslot.
