The Chester collection features a white wax finished oak top with painted bases in Chester Dove Grey, Chester Charcoal, Chester Classic Cream, Chester Limestone, and Chester Pure White. For natural oak finishes, explore the Elkstone collection in Elkstone Mellow Oak and Elkstone Smoked Oak, both with solid oak tops and quality oak veneer bases. The Camille collection offers a hand-applied Camille Limewash Oak finish, while the Inglesham range showcases Inglesham Whitewash Oak with a hand-applied whitewash finish. The Berkeley Nordic Oak features a clear wax finish that highlights the natural grain, and the Simply Cotswold range comes in Simply Cotswold Classic Cream with a painted finish and wooden top.

Our sideboards feature solid oak and high-quality oak veneer construction. The Chester Dove Grey range, for example, has white wax finished quality oak veneer tops with painted panels. Similarly, the Elkstone Mellow Oak collection features solid oak tops with quality oak veneer bases. The Simply Cotswold Classic Cream sideboards are crafted with mortise and tenon solid wood frames. While the tops are solid oak or oak veneer, the painted base panels use engineered wood construction for stability and durability, finished with multiple layers of hardwearing paint.

What are the standard dimensions, and are different sizes available across the range?

The sideboards in this range come in various sizes to suit different spaces. The Chester Dove Grey small sideboard measures H83 x W98 x D41cm, the large sideboard is H83 x W137 x D41cm, and the extra large sideboard is H83 x W186 x D41cm. The grand sideboard offers even more storage at H90 x W198 x D49cm. Other collections, such as Simply Cotswold Classic Cream, Elkstone Mellow Oak, and Inglesham Whitewash Oak, also offer small, large, extra large, and grand sizes with similar dimension variations to help you find the perfect fit for your home.

Do the sideboards arrive fully assembled, or is some assembly required?

Our sideboards arrive fully assembled, ready to enjoy in your home. The only exception is the Camille Limewash Oak extra large sideboard and some pieces from the Elkstone collection, which require minimal assembly – you'll just need to attach the legs.

Can internal storage configurations, such as shelves and drawers, be adjusted to suit my needs?

The shelves within our sideboards are adjustable, allowing you to tailor the cupboard space to suit your storage needs. However, the drawers are fixed in position and cannot be adjusted.

How do I care for and maintain the finish on these sideboards?

To keep your sideboards looking their best, simply wipe them down with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. For painted finishes like Chester Dove Grey, avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that could damage the surface. The white wax finished oak tops can be gently cleaned with a damp cloth, then dried immediately.
