I bought this as a bedside table and it’s perfect for that and looks stylish. I don’t think you could use it as a side table in a lounge because it’s really low, much smaller in height than it looks. I would not be able to reach over the arms of my sofa or armchair to pick up a glass whilst in a sitting position, I would have to kneel over the arm of the sofa. I am 5ft 6”. But for what I wanted it for it’s great,

It's an absolutely lovely table, simple and sturdy. It fits perfectly between two low-armed sofas. Very well packaged, so arrived in perfect condition. I'd recommend Cotswold and the new Foxcote collection.

So disappointing - I ordered 2 of these side tables plus the matching coffee table, first the order was delayed as the coffee table was not in stock, then the order was split into 2 deliveries to accomodate this but when the side tables came the quality was really poor - gaps in the joins of the metal frame (one of these covered with an extended black sticky pad so had clearly been spotted before it left the factory), uneven finish, the edge of the glass sits too high so glows neon green in sunlight. They are priced quite keenly compared to other similar products but the quality is way below what I woudl expect for the price. I returned them and cancelled the order for the matching coffeee table in early March - I have still not received my refund for either item. Be warned...
