Single Pedestal Desk

I bought this great looking desk a few weeks ago and am very pleased with it. Its probably the best value solid oak desk I could find on the internet. There are similar items but this desk has a rustic traditional quality look. There is a small amount of oak veneer used at the sides and back of the cupboard but you cannot see it and its of such good quality I wouldn't have guessed otherwise. The pull out draw where you sit is very handy for a keyboard and mouse to be stored away however I did a bit of home improvement on it I removed the lift up flap (and replaced half the hinges to make it look neat and tidy) that disguises there is a pull out draw. The reason I did this is because it makes using a mouse here a little awkward but most could probably live with it. The dimensions on it are great as well being deep enough but not too wide to take up too much room some may find it a little high but its no big deal.

We are very pleased with the build quality of this piece - it also looks great!

Lovely Desk . Minor problem rear leg of pedestal was split at outside surface . Probable cause being edge distance of screw fixing wood packaging to close to edge of desk leg at its fixing and had split the finished surface of leg. Fixed with wood glue and temporary clamping. Can send photo if further detail required. This was not caused by a delivery problem
