Perfect ! the table fits my deco so well and would fit in with either a formal dining country style setting. The extending mechanism is seamless to use and does add the perfect amount of dinning space.

The Ellenborough table seems very well made. It looks really nice and it is very easy to open up the leaf to increase the size. Unlike some extending tables where the extension part is flimsy, or isn’t supported properly, this is really solid. It looks equally as good when extended. It’s extension leaf locks into place on each side to give extra security which is a very nice touch. I would say it looks more expensive than it was. I can’t say how it will last as I’ve only had it a few days but I’m optimistic.The only downside was that the company let me down for Christmas delivery and I hadn’t received it by new year either. No one bothered to get back to me to discuss it as I’d requested and when a delivery slot was offered to me I was still expected to pay extra as the nearest delivery date fell on a weekend. When it was eventually delivered, they forgot the top and only sent the legs! At that point one employee an American guy Freddie I think, did sort it out for me and I finally received the rest of my table just in time for my husbands birthday on the 8th of January. Although problems with Christmas deliveries can happen. I found the fact that no one bothered to try and sort the problem out or contact me regarding my complaint even after Christmas, very disappointing. I feel that the response to my complaint was just totally ignored and this attitude lets the company down. This is a shame, as the quality of the furniture itself is good.
