Got there in the end but not trouble free!!! My first moan is that when we purchased the Chester Grey Triple Wardrobe online it was showing as due in stock in 1 week. Two weeks later we still hadn't heard anything so I tried ringing their support. Twenty annoying minutes later I was answered by a messenger service who could only offer to take my details and to expect a call back within 24 hours. So I emailed their support. Of course the VERY next day my order was confirmed as in stock and a delivery date arranged. So when I was answered by support they knew my problem had been resolved. Then came delivery. Moan 2. They say that it comes flat packed and when I enquired if this could be delivered to the top floor of our Georgian townhouse I was told that this should be no problem as long as I had checked the size of the packs against my stairway. How could I do this until the packs arrived? Of course they were much too large to comfortably negotiate our stairs. So we had to unpack the delivery packs downstairs only to find that flatpack meant 4 sections. The front with doors intact and the side panels hinged to it. The complete base with drawers in place and not re-moveable.The top and the back panel. The latter two the only sections my wife and I could manage to take up on our own. I had to enlist the help of a neighbour for the base and front/side section both of which were a real struggle. Moan 3. We also found that there was damage to some of the sections. Moan 4. You would think that 4 sections would be easy to assemble but the lifting of the front section with the sides opened out on to the base so that it fits on to the dowel pegs and side guides is impossible as it is very large and heavy and there is nothing to grip on to. After some time of puzzling and attempted lifts I removed the two side guides so that the front could be lifted on to the base with the sides folded in and then unfolded when on the base. You then need to open the doors while holding the uprights and lift the section on to the dowel pegs with the help of someone lying on the floor as a spotter. There are no instructions to help you with this, if there were I would love to know what they would be! After this it was plain sailing and the resulting wardrobe looked really good and was very sturdy. Fortunately the damaged areas were to the inside and not visible on the outside. Had we known the hassle involved in delivery and assembly the £40 extra would have been well spent but I am not convinced the delivery drivers would have unpacked the item downstairs within this remit so it could still have been a problem. We have agreed a discount compensation with Cotswold for the damage and are pleased with the wardrobe but obviously not without some headaches. So don't believe the trouble free, easy to assemble reviews. That front section is a real nightmare. I don't expect this review will be published on the site

Very disappointing - I had 2 deliveries of this item and both were badly damaged. Poor quality wood and the paintwork wasn’t great either.

We could take order of this quality product. It was delivered but they couldn’t get it into my room of choice, the Loft. We are really disappointed that when placing the order they were not more specific what parts and measurements would be part assembled. Customer services were helpful with the rememdies and refund
