As we look ahead to autumn – and cross our fingers for a last burst of sunshine – we’re sharing a delicious grapefruit gin recipe from @socialgingirl. With hints of spiced apple, aromatic thyme and elderflower, it’s a wonderful celebration of the changing seasons.
Serves 4
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Twinings spiced apple and vanilla flavoured herbal infusion with camomile and passion flower tea x 2 bags
- 330ml boiling water
- 130ml gin
- 65ml elderflower cordial
- 65ml pink grapefruit juice
- Ice
- Fresh thyme
HOW TO MAKE
Brew the tea bags in the boiling water and leave to cool. Into the bistro carafe, add all the ingredients with ice and stir well. Serve in a glass with ice and garnish with slices of pink grapefruit and sprigs of thyme.
