We opened our first shop, in Bourton-on-the-Water, in the heart of the Cotswolds over 25 years ago.

As we grew, we needed somewhere bigger to call home, so now you’ll find us just down the road, in Stow-on-the-Wold. This very special patch of rural England will always inspire the furniture and accessories we design and make, as well as the idea of home that we hold dear. In a nutshell:

Everything with our name on it is thoughtfully designed, carefully crafted and built to be with you forever. From comfy beds to roomy wardrobes, sink-in sofas to gather-round dining tables, and bags of clever storage ideas to boot.

All our wood furniture is made from responsibly sourced timber. Whether natural oak, painted or pine, we know the forest of origin for every piece. Where we use engineered wood, our direct Chinese suppliers are now using 100% certified materials from responsibly managed forests. We are in the process of making this change for our other suppliers.

We’re reducing our waste, energy use and carbon footprint wherever we can. And we’re committed to doing more and better each and every year ahead. Read our Sustainability Pledge to find out more.
